STEM Week Challenge recap
An estimated 60,000 students and 1,600 educators from over 400 schools across the state tackled real-world zero waste problems for the STEM Week Challenge, brought to you by Project Lead The Way and Mass STEM Hub.
Partners Dell Technologies, MassDEP, and TD Garden provided real-world context and resources students used to come up with prototypes to help reduce food waste, energy waste, plastics waste, and e-waste.
Congratulations to the winning teams of both the Showcase at the Reggie Lewis Center and the online competition, where over 300 STEM professionals and sustainability experts reviewed student work and provided authentic feedback.
