Therapeutic Toy Design Showcase

June 4th 2019 @ Merck Research Laboratories 

PLTW Gateway students visited Merck Laboratories in Boston to present adaptive toys designed for children with cerebral palsy to STEM professionals, including doctors from the Cerebral Palsy and Spasticity Center at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Launch Showcase

May 23rd 2019 @ Franklin Park Zoo

Franklin Park Zoo welcomed over 100 elementary school students to present their animal-inspired projects to industry professionals and zoo experts – including adaptive shoes for extreme climates, and a tiger rescue device created in PLTW Gateway classes.

ST Math End of Year Celebration

May 29th 2019 @ The New England Aquarium

We celebrated 600 ST Math students and their teachers at the New England Aquarium. Students played ocean-themed math games, explored the Aquarium, and viewed an IMAX movie!

High School Showcase & STEM Signing Day

May 2nd 2019 @ Worcester Polytechnic Institute  

Over 300 high school students showcased their Project Lead The Way engineering, biomedical science, and computer science projects to industry professionals, and we recognized 100+ seniors committed to studying STEM after graduation.

April 26th 2019 @ Peabody Essex Museum

Middle school students presented Pull Toys inspired by the collections of Peabody Essex Museum, created as part of their PLTW Automation & Robotics course.
